CERN Future Collider
FCC Study conference in Vienna from 19 to 23 May 2025
The aim of the Future Circular Collider (FCC) study is to develop a conceptual model for the future LCH infrastructure in a global context.
Extending our understanding of the fundamental laws of nature requires pushing the energy frontier even further. Achieving this goal in the 21st century in an economically and energy-efficient way requires the development of a large-scale circular collider.
The international FCC collaboration, hosted by CERN, has brought together over 70 institutes from all over the world since March 2017. The cooperation is open to universities, laboratories, top scientific research centers as well as high-tech companies.
The FCC collaboration will deliver its report on the feasibility of the project at the next conference in Vienna (Austria) from 19 to 23 May 2025.
