UNIQA is an insurance company based in Geneva, Switzerland. Since 1971, it has been working with Swiss and foreign companies domiciled in Switzerland, as well as major international bodies (public institutions, international organizations, etc.). Their employees enjoy different statuses: they may be subject to the Swiss social security system, and in particular to the KVG/LAMal (Swiss Federal Health Insurance Act), or be exempt from it, or depend on other systems. UNIQA designs solutions adapted to each case, based on two types of company.
