UNIQA: the insurer of international organizations

All persons domiciled in Switzerland must, in principle, be insured against the risks of illness, maternity and accident, in accordance with the KVG/LAMal (Swiss Federal Health Insurance Act) in force since January 1 1996. There are exceptions, however, depending on headquarters agreements between certain organizations and local authorities.
